Current progress of Eye on the Trail

This has been a dream for a long time and surreal to see it come to life.

I wanted to show where we are in the process of moving from clay to bronze. The Eye on the Trail is at Art Castings of Colorado, a nationally known foundry located in Loveland, CO. The Eye on the Trail status:

Mold Making: Done

Wax Pouring: Done

Wax Cast: Done (you can see updated pictures here.)

Spruing, Shell, Metal Pour, Welding, Metal Chasing, Patina: anticipated end of April!

I won’t be able to see the statue at every step of the process but will update when I do. It may seem like there is a long ways to go, but it will be finished within a few months.
