“The Eye on the Trail sculpture has been in my head for the past 25 years. I have always felt like I have been able to catch something in action, not frozen in time, which is why this sculpture shows that subtle action that many don’t see, the moment of becoming aware. In other sculptures I have seen, I admired the use of light and shadows, along with different textures and techniques and have included those in my debut sculpture to provide depth.” Brandon Clark, Artist
The picture above is of the finished clay sculpture before it was taken to Art Castings of Colorado. The Bronze Sculpture is anticipated to be finished end of April 2026. You can follow along with updates on this sculpture and other current projects on the Works in Progress page.
I will be adding my early pieces, along with their stories on the Early works page.

Eye on the Trail
An original sculpture by Brandon T Clark
About
Brandon T. Clark
At 48, after years on the road driving trucks and working jobs that paid the bills but never fed the soul, he made the decision to return to sculpting, creating a life of passion and inspiration. Outside of a few weeks in a high school art class, Brandon is self-taught and leans into the universe for ideas and guidance. Eye on the Trail is the first piece of his work to be shared with the public.
Brandon works as a Fly-Fishing Guide on the Green River out of Dutch John, UT- one of the best trout fisheries in the country. Passionate about the comfort and healing power of the water, proceeds from his artwork will help expand fishing opportunities for charitable organizations and deserving individuals who will benefit from an experience on the water.
In his spare time, he enjoys the solitude of the outdoors, often hiking and visiting new places, along with studying and exploring the rich history and cultures of the Native American peoples- interests that continue to influence and inspire his work.
